Not to take away from Jon Lester's amazing performance B Shea but you said that the Royals have a "legit" offense. Was that a serious comment or some sort of a joke? Unless legit means in the bottom 30% of every offensive catagory, dead last in home runs, and second to last in RBI's, then yes, they are legit. What a rediculous thing to say. Also, when the Bruins haven't won a playoff series since 2000, It's hard to consider them in a "golden era". Keep having a distugsting hometown bias and see where that gets you when Boston sports go mid 90's on us again.
The last of the Duke rapist are officially ineligable in the NCAA, after their granted fifth year of playing. Duke was defeated 10-9 by Johns Hopkins ending this rape story which everyone but Al Sharpton is sick of. In the other semi-final game Syracuse came from five goals down to defeat Virginia in double overtime. So the Dukeless championship is Johns Hopkins vs Syracuse. I like Syracuse to win its tenth title in it's storied history, and finally, end this Duke scandel for good.
As for betting, my lock of the day is the Lakers (+5) over the Spurs.
