Really Rediculous Road Ruh Roh's

Haven't had time to blog in a while. I've been under more stress than a Roger Clemens lawyer... Time for me to dismiss everything B Shea says. To begin I do believe Paul Pierce should have been fined by the NBA for his hand gesture towards the hawks bench, but not $25,000. It's a thing he has done hundreds of times before but has somehow gone unnoticed. Roger Clemens continues to be funnier than any other human on TV. Everytime he opens his mouth bad things come out of it. He needs to pull a Mark Mcguire and just dissapear.

Finally, the re-occuring theme of B Shea's blogs all year. Rondo is a good point guard. I said it before, he impressed me this year, but when the playoff's come around, that means nothing. Rondo has been a bigger dissapointment than the short lived XFL. We can say he needs to play better, but I think he is giving us his best. He isn't Chris Paul, Deron Williams, or Tony Parker. In game three of the Eastern Conference semi-finals the Celtics had thirteen points. That sounds like a Knicks first quarter. The argument is that Rondo sets the pace, then Alien face comes in to change the pace of the game. Why can't Sam Cassell just start and then have Rondo off the bench to change the pace. Doc Rivers has done a sub-par job coaching, at best! Everytime Rondo shoots I get nervous, and in game six of the opening round against Atlanta, I knew the game was over before he even attempted the game tying three.

So the question still lies, what do the Celtics do to win on the road? My guess is to start James Posey, KG, Pierce, Powe, and Cassell. This way Posey can continue to shut down Lebron James, while opening up shooting attempts for Pierce and Cassell. Leon Powe has been playing unbelievable on both sides of the ball all post season, where as Perkins has yet to man up. KG with the help of Powe should be able to contain the 7`3 Z man. I find this starting line-up the best way to put points up on the board, while taking the Cleveland crowd out of the game.

For tonight, the Celtics are the underdog for the first time this postseason. (+2.5) This should be the first wake up call for them all postseason, because let's be honest, who was nervous against Atlanta in game seven? A team that went 66-17 in the regular season, and 31-10 on the road ( Both led the NBA ) should not have this big a problem on the road. I look for Boston to snap out of this funk and win tonight 97-88.
